Turton Drive

The client for this project was based in Sydney. As a busy professional, they did not have time to organise the DA. We arranged all survey and civil plans as needed for a DA. We achieved a RiskSMART fast-tracked.

The approval was not actioned and in 2020 we re-applied and achieved a new approval. This time due to the nature of the fill and retaining walls proposed on-site, RiskSMART was not available. It’s a good example of how policies for Councils can change over time.

Originally, the client was going to retain the house. Discussions with builders and civil contractors confirmed that due to the amount of filling required, retaining the house would be difficult. It’s likely the house will be sold and moved to another site.
